If you’re reading my blog at this point, then you probably already know me and/or were reading my blog before I chopped it and did an overhaul. Welcome back, citizens.
If you don’t know me, what everything boils down to is this: My name is Cassandra and I’m into the arts.
I’m returning to school after a long hiatus, majoring in Humanities and minoring in History, because given my past course load it will get me my bachelors degree the fastest. I also plan to attend The National Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts next year, following a successful audition and acceptance. I’ll focus on grad school when I get there, but I’m hoping to attend in Europe; Sweden, specifically.
My artistic interests are all-consuming and as I have so very many, it’s difficult to stay focused on one thing for very long. My honors program counselor, back in 1999, referred to this gift/curse as “Multipotentiality”. Most people I know, however, think that I’m just flighty. In either case, I am constantly found to be dabbling in any and all of the following: acting, instrumental music, opera, ballet, bellydance, drawing, painting, reading and studying history, culture, foreign languages, mythology and literature, and writing plays, poetry, articles and fiction. I’ve recently started to combine several of these interests in fashion illustration and costume design.
I’ve tried to keep a blog on many occasions, unsuccessfully, because in my everyday life, I’m really quite boring. There isn’t a whole lot that I deem worthy of discussion in a public forum, though I’ll probably bring an event up from time to time. I lead quite a rich fantasy life, however, and it is that I will be detailing here on this site.
All of that being said, I’m crashing for the night. It is 2:45am after all.
Feel free to chat with me any time. I love comments and adore email even more. Contact details are on my About page.
